POSITION: COMMUNITY LEASING CONSULTANT DESCRIPTION: Stratus Real Estate Inc., is seeking a dynamic, outgoing and personable individual who believes in providing excellent customer service and enjoys interaction with people on a day to day basis. The Community Leasing Consultant must have a passion for sales and marketing, outstanding communication skills, excellent time management skills, be detail-oriented, a team player, and available to work weekends. JOB FUNCTIONS: As a Community Leasing Consultant, your main function will be to present the community to prospective residents in a professional and informative manner to generate new move-ins and lease renewals. In addition, you will provide excellent resident service and aid the Community Manager in all duties related to resident retention. RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Community Leasing Consultant your responsibilities include but are not limited to assisting the Community Manager in gathering and compiling current market and economic information, preparing competitive and market analyses, researching market trends, handling telephone and on-site traffic, showing “rent-ready” apartments, closing leases, qualifying prospects, and completing all related paperwork and activities to ensure a timely move-in. In addition, you will also convey resident service requests to the Maintenance Supervisor and other service associates in a timely and efficient manner. QUALIFICATIONS : As a Community Leasing Consultant, you must understand and comply with Stratus' policies and procedures, all state, federal and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing, Equal Opportunity Employment and Landlord Tenant issues. A high school diploma is required, but a college degree would be ideal. Six month minimum experience in customer service and sales, proficiency at Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook Express & Internet required. Yardi, Amsi, E-Site, Rent Roll or any other Property Management Software experience is a plus. A Pass result on the drug test, criminal background check and credit check is required for consideration.
